The Mehtas' Visit By Izzy

Last weekend our friends, the Mehtas, visited us for about three days. The first day, we went to Belmont Park. My favorite rides were Tilt-a-Whirl and Beach Blaster. The Beach Blaster is a ride where you are sitting where your feet are hanging down and it swings you back and forth REALLY high!! Nico and I went on it twice. We also went on tilt-a-whirl three times. Belmont Park is right on the beach, so we went to the beach for a while. We body surfed and tried to boogie board, but the waves weren't good for boogie boarding. The last thing we did was mini golf. At the end of the course, there was a skeeball like hole where you give your ball back. Auntie Monique made it in and we got a $5 gift card to the arcade!!
The second day, we went for a hike at Torrey Pines and then went to La Jolla to see the seals and sea lions. We looked at them and saw 6 baby sea lions. We went later in the day, so the beaches were fillled with people instead of seals and sea lions. I always love hanging out with Auntie Monique, Uncle Neal, and Nico, and we hope to see them soon!

I had totally forgotten about my (our!) 'big win' and the volcano! :) :) :) Our whole trip was SO MUCH FUN, and we miss you all already. We hope to see you soon, too! xoxo
